The Big Piney school system invites parents and interested persons to observe teaching during National Education Week from November 7 to 12. Open house of teaching schedules runs Monday to Thursday with class visits available, culminating in a Parent Teacher Tea at 3 30 P M Thursday in the high school lunchroom.
Elmer Olson and Belco Petroleum join Golden Spike Nation livestock drive as co chairs Francis W. Tanner and C. A. Fear Jr announce commitments from numerous local businesses. Calves pre sale care by Tanner Bros with FFA help. Johnson Trucking and Dr. Bert Relow aiding. calves travel to Ogden on November 11 with show on November 4 and sale on November 15. Sunday November 6 at 10 00 am in Marbleton for sorting and preparation with public invitation.
Mr and Mrs Virgil Batley of LaBerge are the parents of a baby born Wednesday at a Montpelier Idaho hospital. The newborn marks a new arrival in the Batley family with the community watching for details.
Dan H Budd of Big Piney Wyoming joined 249 other fathers at Wentworth Military Academy Dead's Day in Lexington Missouri.
