New Home Destroyed by Fire at Walter Ball Residence
Early Thursday morning a fire of unknown origin devastated the Walter Ball home in Hallway, Washington, destroying most of the new house just completed for Mr and Mrs Walter Ball. An adjacent garage housing an expensive depar heating unit also burned. The Ball family had not yet moved in, and interior furnishings were not in place. Firefighters and local residents rushed to help. the Pliedals fire engine arrived as the buildings were already consumed. The home will be rebuilt in the early spring.

Robert L Wininger 21 formerly of Big Piney Wyoming serves with the 7th Infantry Division in Korea front lines in rugged mountains above the 38th parallel.
