The Lions Club held its annual Ladies Night last Thursday at the Community Hall with a good crowd. Guests received corsages on entry and a dinner by Blaine Moffat staff followed. Orville Wilkerson served as master of ceremonies as members introduced guests. Entertainer John Gallemore led acts with Kathy Lamust on cornet, Lyle Sinney on clarinet, and the Bob Soxere quartet. Don Wolf discussed solar energy from Kammerer firm Intermountain States Tel and Tel Co. Dancing closed the evening.

UW Offers Two Scholarships in Commerce and Industry
Two $250 scholarships are available to University of Wyoming students in commerce and industry. The Agricultural Indemnity Insurance Companies of Wyoming offers a scholarship to a junior or senior pursuing commerce and industry. Wyoming education grads to teach in state at high share
University of Wyoming reports that over 92 percent of this year’s education graduates will teach in Wyoming. By September 2, 1957, 120 recent graduates will join the state’s classrooms and fill about 200 of 600 local vacancies this summer. The average starting salary statewide is $4,000, with Wyoming higher than some neighbors but middle nationwide.
