Wyoming Legislature Pursues Broad Bill Review On Deadline
With five days left in the session the Wyoming lower house labors eight hours on Lincoln's Birthday to clear the large backlog of more than 200 bills. Several measures are recalled from committees. House Bill 211 on saloon licenses requires 51 percent petition support. Indefinite postponements affect livestock neglect and train speeds carrying livestock. The Senate confirms Governor's appointments to multiple state boards including water, coal mine inspectors, nurse examiners, accountancy, pharmacy, horticulture, and veterinary posts.
