The Pinedale Roundup reports on February 28 at L. H. Hennick ranch the creation of The Upper Green River Valley Cattle and Horse Growers Association. Founders include L. H. Henrick, W. W. Luce, Abner Luman, and others. L. H. Hennick is president with a board including A P Sommers and Wm Woods. They adopt a constitution, set levies, regulate bulls on range, salting, and wolf bounties, and oppose new game preserves and loss of forest range in Teton National Forest. The group aims to coordinate roundup work and seek government predator controls.

The draft bill grants entrymen and patentees up to ninety days to designate contiguous lands for additional entry under this act. If lands are insufficient, the Interior Secretary must equitably divide lands into forty acre parcels to balance gains. Budd Avenue Owners to Lay Sidewalks and Grade
A petition signed by three fourths of Budd Avenue north side property owners asks the town council to enact an ordinance requiring sidewalk construction and to establish a sidewalk grade. Action is expected at the next meeting. The proposal aims to extend sidewalks townwide and the school board is urged to help by surrounding district property with sidewalks.

Fear Buys Tarter Ranch In Green River Valley
The purchase of the Bob Tarter ranch by F A Fear was disclosed this week. The 500 acre pioneer property lies about three and a half miles below Piney along the Green River, adjoining the O Neil home ranch. Fear now owns about 2600 acres near Big Piney and Phoenix.
