Sublette Ranchers and Homemakers Forum at Pinedale on March 22 will feature alfalfa growers Willie and Wyomling and discuss alfalfa control, garden and livestock pests, and practical pest management methods for homes and farms in Sublette County.
The Pine High area hosts a forum on silage and alfalfa storage with questions on economics, harvesting, curing, and year to year storage. Victor McGinnis will present samples from 1951 harvests for UF examination and compare with local hay. A four point session is planned for March 23 at Pine Ridge with Subette Ranchers and Homemakers to plan attendance.
Sublette County ranchers and homemakers meet to discuss irrigation and land leveling. Exhibits will show newer devices and water control methods as some producers find sprinklerization profitable despite high initial costs. The forum aims to clarify improved irrigation practices and local soil guidance for better yields.
The second edition of the Brand Book of the Wyoming Westerners reports favorable subscriber response as Wyoming's only historical quarterly.
