Follow These Rules to Potentially Avoid Car Accidents
Wyoming Patrol officials urge a simple rule to reduce rear end crashes. Col Bradiey says keeping at least one car length for every 10 mph, while Lt Boyd notes the rule fails above 60 mph. A three second gap could provide a safer margin, though drivers’ hurry often overrides caution.

VA Centers Prepare for National Emergency Plan
VA specialists study defense and disaster relief planning estimating tie day loss in a national emergency. VA facilities could care for 350000 patients, but only the most austere care could be provided initially. If widespread, patients might be distributed to more sites with more casualties treated. Dr Middleton says hospitals could save thousands of lives in a severe crisis. Plans call for immediate mobilization of staff, equipment, and supplies for maximum efficiency.
