Wyoming Home Demonstration Council elects new leader at Jaramie meet
About 80 members representing 7300 extension club women elected Mrs. Keith Blackner as president at the 18th annual meeting June 11 13 at the University of Wyoming. Retiring officers included Mrs. Frank Scott and Mrs. Blackner. The conference featured talks by G D Humphrey Gale McGee and Verna Hitchcock plus topics on adult education Japan and homemaker roles. Delegates held group discussions and workshops as the Oregon Trail tale was noted as longer than the Texas route by state archives.
