L D Tanner has made several trips to Opal for freight for the Big Piney Mer. Co. Jas Mickelson left for Mayo Brothers hospital Rochester Minn for stomach trouble. Mr and Mrs Gull Whitman from their Daniel ranch visited Kemmerer. Chas Budd of Marbleton was a Kemmerer visitor. Frank Burney returned from Fall River basin reporting high streams and lush range. Mrs Grace MacGlashan, Mrs Lena Gray and Mrs Griffin visited the oil fields. Mrs J Mills of Hood River and Geo Hopkins Jr with Miss Nina Hopkins came from Evanston to visit relatives. Mrs Mills formerly resided here. Mr and Mrs Henry Budd and daughter Pearl and Mrs M B Hook left for Kemmerer to buy Rodeo supplies. Lewis Bartlett bought a new Overland and now runs taxi between Piney and Opal. T D O'Neil ill at Cottonwood ranch. hopes to be fit for rodeo. J J Horning and A J Shoute of Ottawa, Iowa arrived with two car loads of Hereford bulls for sale, to be shown at the rodeo. Rev Warren A Seager of Mt Clark, NJ, arrives in Piney to lead St John Baptist Mission for three months, comes with Rev M B Nash from Kemmerer. Mrs Mary Murdock leaves for Larchwood, Iowa for her sister Belle Solon's wedding to Mr Christian Wrang on June 21. The couple are well known locally and will return soon. The groom is an Associated Oil geologist.
