Beloved Wife Annie Hopkins Dies at Evanston

Annie Bradshaw Hopkins wife of Editor George W. Hopkins died suddenly of a heart attack at Evanston on May 30 1942. She was born October 7 1892 in Almy Wyoming and lived most of her life in Evanston and Big Piney. Funeral services were held June 2 1942 at the Masonic Temple Evanston under Esther Chapter No 9 Order of the Eastern Star with burial in Evanston City Cemetery. She is survived by her husband four children and many relatives.

Hunt and Story Wed in County Clerk Office Ceremony

Wyoming to Bestow LL D on Four Honorary Figures

The University of Wyoming will award LL.D. honorary doctorates at commencement to Col Constant Lewis Irwin, a Bataan veteran and deputy chief of staff in the Philippines, together with three other distinguished men. Dr. H. Rogers, Dr. John E. Anderson, and George B. Pryde receive recognition for their leadership in education and industry. Col Irwin, famed for service with MacArthur, is cited as a leading young staff officer in the U.S. Army.

Artist Guild Enjoys Meeting at Ada Budd’s Home

Ada Budd chaired the first Artist's Guild gathering at her home on Wednesday May 27 with nine members.
