Evanston Wyoming announces candidacy for District Judge on non-partisan ballot. Appointed after Justice Craig's death, Arnold has held the office since July 27 1915 and seeks a full term, pledging fair impartial service.
The notice calls voters in Sweetwater Uinta and Lincoln Counties to a nonpartisan primary for District Judge on August 22. Douglas A. Preston lists 37 years in law including 5 as Wyoming Attorney General and invites voters to assess his qualifications. The ballot will present Arnold Christmas and Preston in a rotating order, with the top two advancing to the general election.
