Public hearing on the 1965 1988 budget for Sublette County ending June 30 1966 will be held July 26 1965 at 8 pm in the County Commissioners office Pinedale Wyoming. All interested persons may attend and speak about the proposed budget. A summary of the budget follows.
The superintendent of motive power at Union Pacific was accepted on June 1st and Harvey Mitchell of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe was appointed to his place. Mitchell has a splendid reputation and is expected to implement improvements in office management.
The document lists assets including cash, government obligations, and loans with overdrafts totaling significant sums. It enumerates bank premises valued at 32,701.02, deposits by individuals and institutions, and capital accounts with common stock, surplus, and undivided profits. Directors named include Donald R. Wassenberg and John A. Reed with attestations by Mildred M Miller and others.
