The Cottonwood Irrigation and Development Co of St. Louis is building a large canal, with three and a half miles completed. Ditches are moved by grading machines at 1500 to 2000 yards daily. The project will supply water to many farms and ranches, drawing early settlers who praise the rich valley lands served by the ditch.
Last Saturday evening at the groom's parents home in Evanston, Jas Hopkins wed Minnie Masoner of Halfway Wyoming in a small ceremony led by Pres. James Brown. The couple will reside in Halfway with the groom’s sisters and bride’s sister noted. friends extend best wishes.
