John W. Haddenham, 67, longtime Wyoming resident, died in Salt Lake City hospital last week after moving from Midway and Opal ranch holdings. Survived by widow, numerous children and grandchildren, with funeral in Kemmerer.

The Kemmerer Post of the American Legion sponsors a grand Fourth of July event and invites Green River Valley residents to join in. J A Allard of the Federal Allegical Tax Unit for Wyoming, based in Cheyenne, visited Big Piney last Friday. He is a longtime friend of the editor and former Evanston publisher who stopped by to pay respects and reminisce about old days. John Stevens returned from Kemmerer early today. his son Richard is improving after a bowel illness and high fever at Kemmerer Hospital. Richard is being treated and expected to be released soon. Mrs Stevens is with him.
