On Friday a pleasant season’s gathering at the MacGlashan home hosted twenty four guests with a two course lunch. Mrs Jas Jensen and Mr Wm Hes were top scorers among women and men, while Miss Jewell and Mr Wm Hes presided over consolations. Attendees included the Budd and Jewell families and local names. a Home Talents play A Family Affair is announced with supper and dance at Budd hall with music from Kemmerer. Mr Henry Budd and John Budd returned from Denver reporting stock. school closed midweek to curb thieves who broke into Burney & Co warehouse last Saturday night stealing hides. Officials from Kemmerer and Fur Co attended.
