Wyoming health regulations require rapid written reports of venereal disease within forty eight hours, confidential handling, and physician duties. It imposes eye prophylaxis for newborns, forbids marriage by infected individuals, and requires pre marriage medical certificates and affidavits of health.
County clerks must file marriage certificates as permanent records and send monthly reports to the State Board of Health detailing parties ages birthplaces race and residences plus physician names and laboratory findings. Certificates may only be issued when the physician is licensed in Wyoming and up-to-date physician lists are provided by the Board.
