Prospect dies after gravel blast on Orient claim
W F Moore aged 47 brother in law of city purchasing agent J C Argall died from head injuries after a premature blast on a claim near Orient. He crawled a quarter mile in snow to reach friends before death at Spokane General Hospital. Funeral at Turnbull chapel with Odd Fellows in Greenwood Cemetery. Moore, a Salt Lake City native, came to Spokane from Ossburg via Montana.
