Wyoming Taxpayers Association News Report
Wyoming taxpayers would pay about 128.87 million dollars annually as Wyoming's share of the President Truman budget for the year ending June 30, 1952 if Congress adopts the 1.6 billion dollar spending plan. The Wyoming Taxpayers Association cites this is nearly six times the state appropriation limit and urges rigid federal economy. It notes Social Security funds outside the budget and calls for trimming non-defense programs. Bulletin notices offer Internal Revenue guidance for 1950 tax returns from the Cheyenne Commerce Field Office.
