Judge Finds Eight Big Piney Students Guilty in Court Hearing
Eight Big Piney students were found guilty in a court hearing on Monday afternoon. The foreman, Robert Shepherd, cited changes in disciplinary status and the judge sentenced them to membership in the Bas Piney Charter of the National Honor Society and urged them to uphold its constitution.

Funeral for Glen William Walker Held Today
Funeral services are held today at the Episcopal Church of St John the Baptist for Glen William Walker of Marlerton who died after a heart attack in an ambulance en route to the hospital. He was a World War II veteran and is survived by his mother Lucy Walker two brothers James and Robert Walker all of Missoula Mont three sisters Mrs Lawrence Marybury of Denver and Betty Walker of Dos Palos Calif and other relatives. Graveside rites will be conducted at Piney Cemetery by the local American Legion with pallbearers Donald Wassenourg Guy Cur William Carrikovert Spingman and Ed Finnegan.
