The fifth annual Sublette County cutter races were held in Pinedale last Saturday with snow dog and sled events, a winter carnival, and favorable weather. A large crowd attended, and officials had not yet sent results, promising full listings in the next issue.
Larry Birleffi, Wyoming broadcaster and columnist, will head the 1957 Easter Seal sale campaign to aid crippled children and adults. C Stanley Gustafson, president of the Wyoming Society for Crippled Children and Adults, praised the goals of expanding speech and physical therapy, camping, and equipment loans through a unified campaign with broad community support.
Mrs E E Clow entertained at a surprise birthday party for her sister Mrs Lindsey last Thursday afternoon. Attendees included Ona Gurney Helm Beck Caroline Doerr Dorothy Bell Davie Virostike Corel Twitchell Muriel Gray Effie Griggs and others. Mrs Beck won two prizes and Mrs Virostko won one. Cake and ice cream were served.
