Louis Travis died January 28 in Los Angeles California at age 77. He and his wife lived in California after leaving Piney about 11 years ago. He owned a ranch and business here, now Joe Sage's property. Survived by widow and son Lois Jr. Funeral held January 31 in Inglewood Memorial Park Cemetery with local residents attending.
