Four and a Half Miles of LaBarge Piney Highway Planned
A $4 329 791 10 contract was awarded January 27 to Gilpatrick Construction Company of Riverton by the Wyoming Highway Commission for US 189 work between LaBarge and Big Piney. The project covers 4.4 miles of roadway with grading drainage and surfacing, plus two reinforced concrete box culverts five box extensions and widening the Dry Piney Creek bridge to 38 feet. Supervisor Butler Hilton says completion is targeted for September 1967.
