Mrs Chas Fredell Dies After Pneumonia Illness
Mrs. Chas Fredell aged 78 died last evening at L C M hospital in Kemmerer after a brief pneumonia illness. A pioneer Big Piney resident, she had lived on North Piney ranch and later in town. Her husband died about ten years ago. The funeral is expected Sunday with F W Tanner, local mortician, to bring the remains.

Jobseekers surge as unemployment nears high in Wyoming
Manager George Spinner of theWyoming State Employment Service reports an 85.7 percent rise in active registrations to 338 job seekers at January end, with 121 veterans and 40 women among them. Clara Bird Smith Dies in Salt Lake City
Clara Bird Smith a former resident of this section died in a Salt Lake City hospital on Monday January 30 from cancer. Born September 18 1894 at Midway Wyoming she was daughter of Charley Bird. Survived by numerous brothers and sisters including Jasper Bird Hird Vallejo Walter Bird Big Piney Howard Bird Winston Mrs Wilson Bell and Mrs Jennie Merre. Funeral services set for Friday February 8 1950 in Salt Lake City with interment there.
