Big Piney scene brightens with Christmas snow and town notices
Big Piney woke to about six inches of snow after a Christmas morning storm that swept the Rocky Mountain region. Town council granted liquor licenses to George Farrell and R S Bennett. Local residents shared Christmas dances, theater events, and lodge meetings as visitors came and went between Marbleton, Kemmerer, and Farragut Idaho. Beloved townsfolk included Army recruit George Bensel and various Masonic and Eastern Star members.
