Wyoming Press Association's 63rd winter meeting in Laramie will feature Bill Moyers speaking January 19 at the Peace Corps. Moyers, journalist and former Lyndon B Johnson aide, has a Rotary fellowship and studied at the University of Texas. Also on January 18-20, Gene Cervi, H Lawford, and Vi Mirty join speakers as four day program ends January 20 at 9:30 AM.

Fire Destroys Bunkhouse at Thompson Ranch
A bunkhouse at Thompson Ranch burned down evening at about 8 o'clock. Piney volunteer fire department arrived to find the structure fully involved. There were no occupants. cause of the conflagration is not yet learned. Firefighters salvaged some belongings before the building collapsed.

Winter sports area opens near Pinedale for holidays
The new Wyomin gs area near Pinedale opens New Year Eve with a 4200 foot rope and 80 acre site. Ted Majer says daily hours from 10 am to 4 pm with free coffee on opening day. Snow depth ranges from three to four feet with beginner to powder runs. The Winter Camps plan to stay open through mid April, operating Fridays Saturdays Sundays and midweek as demand allows. Major, a 10th Mountain Division veteran, says the area targets family skiing as well as tough runs for intermediate and advanced skiers.

January Address Report Push by Immigration Service
The law requires most aliens in the United States to report their address each January with few exceptions. The Allen Address Report Program sees about 30 percent more alien applications in January February and March than in other months. Aliens not required to report include diplomats and agricultural labor temporary workers. The report forms are available at post offices and Immigration and Naturalization Service offices during January. staff will answer inquiries and provide naturalization information.
