Veterans Affairs seals GI policy conversion rights unchanged

The Survivor Benefits Act does not affect conversion from term to permanent GI policies. VA states convertible term policies remain eligible within one year of a date set by VA for conversion, while nonconvertible term policies are excluded. veterans urged to consider converting to permanent plans for protection though these can be costly with rising premiums.

John S Mackey Sublette County Chairman for the United States Savings Bonds reported strong investor activity in November with state sales totaling 653 3344 while November 1955 and seven months of 1956 show a statewide total of 8 358 626 28. County November sales reached 3064.65 and eleven month total 30 368 20.
