The Congregational Church conducts morning services every other Sunday at 11:00 with Sunday school at 10:30. The hour for Sunday school has been moved to 10:30 until further notice. Rev. W. H. Ward presides over Holy Communion and sermon at 11:00.
Classified notice announces five Rhode Island Red cockrels for sale at two dollars each by C. W. Carlson.

The vice annual Meeting of the stockholders for electing directors and other business will be held at the banking offices at 2:00 PM on Monday Jan 18. Jas Mickelson President. Local society notes include visits and returns of residents and soldiers from Camp Johnston and other posts.
Mr and Mrs Pat Conwell and Mr and Mrs Ed Sargent of Danville were Piney visitors Tuesday. They toured local sites and enjoyed a day with friends in the community.

Mr A F Atwood and daughter Marie depart for Evanston today carrying word of a sister in law who has been ill for several months. Delbert and Victor Bess of Caldwell Idaho are visiting this week in the L Z Bess home.
The Green River Valley Chapter calls on women to keep sewing and knitting as material arrives weekly. A meeting is set for Friday at 2:00 PM in the Budd Hall work room, led by Mrs Grace MacGlashan, with plans to start work next week.
Christmas cheer fills School Notes with parties led by Miss Crelly and Miss Thomas. Students enjoyed games ice cream and cake and a fish pond gift draw. Local families visit relatives over the holiday weekend with guests at the G F P Whitman Ranch and Noble home.
