An excerpt recounts a buffalo chase in Spring Valley Texas where a cook, chasing thrill, pursues a herd with a pistol but runs out of ammo. He ultimately wounds a buffalo calf with hand and knife, while the hunt turns chaotic and the crew struggles to secure meat.
In a harsh clash an animal charged and toppled a rider before he killed the calf. Leaders of the caravan imposed hunting limits and rationing to prevent another buffalo outbreak, while riders and guards faced threats from Pawnees demanding goods as the caravan pressed on.
Katherine Lambert dba Big Piney Telephone Company seeks authority to sell transfer and convey its telephone properties to Wyoming Telephone Company for 15000. Copies of the application and agreement are on file for public inspection. Hearing is not planned unless objections or requests are filed by December 15, 1957. Dated November 22 1957.
