Friday evening at 8 o clock Budd Hall will host the Big Piney schools annual Christmas program in two parts. The lower grades perform Santas Success a musical with bright dialogue choruses and goblins fairies stars and the moon ladies. The upper grades present The Ringing of the Chimes a two scene cantata with a Cathedral setting and an emphasis on the Christ spirit. Admission is free and parents are urged to attend. Cattle from Opal shipped earlier in the week pass through Piney Friday.

The church schedules Advent devotions at 8 90 A M and worship at 11 00 A M on Sunday December 23 1917 with a Mystery Play The Nativity at 8 15 P M by children. Christmas Eve service at 8 15 P M features sermon and story. Christmas Day morning service at 1 00 P M includes special music and welcoming remarks by Rev A Gordon Fowkes.
