Mrs Marian Aitken laid to rest at Kemmerer

Mrs Marian Thompson Aitken, longtime figure in the Daniel District, died Tuesday aged 85. She was buried in Kemmerer cemetery after services held the prior Sunday. Survivors include her children James T. Aitken and several daughters, with many neighbors and friends grieving her loss.

Wyoming Game Hunting Season Ends With No Fatalities

The state Fish and Game Commission reports only one accidental shooting during the season that opened Sept 15, with a non serious wound. Most hunting was good. early elk and deer kills exceeded last year, notably 722 elk and 30 deer in Jackson Hole.
