A brief notice from the Member National Editorial Association states advertising rates are available on application. The terse entry indicates members may obtain rate information directly from the association.
Wyoming Game and Fish announces the sage grouse hunting season starts at 1 am on August 26 in most areas. A two day season runs August 26 27 in Johnson and Campbell counties, followed by a nine day season September 2 10 in Laramian Park Washakie and Hot Springs counties. Daily hours are 7 am to dark except Johnson Campbell where 7 am to 10 4 pm. Bag limit is three birds per day and three in possession. Report banded birds to Game and Fish personnel.
The notice lists worship times and activities for Congregational and St Anne Catholic churches across Big Piney LaBarge and High Piney areas. It invites attendance with Sunday worship at 9 00 am and 10 00 am Sunday School, plus priesthood meetings, sacrament and testimony meetings, and relief society sessions at multiple locations and times throughout the week.

Sixty-one individuals were fined a total of 1714 by Wyoming Game and Fish Department for July violations. The largest fine, to a Powell resident, followed a deer kill out of season and wanton waste. Other fines included 85 for a Utah man, 75 for a Lander woman, with charges ranging from creel limits to fishing without a license and illegal transportation of game fish.
Department of the Interior announces that Margaret G Greenzwood and Helen Chapel, both residents of Big Piney, filed notices of intention to make final proofs for desert land entries in Sublette County Wyoming. The actions occurred Feb 26 1959 with hearings scheduled before the Clerk of the District Court in Pinedale. Public notices list witnesses and dates August 31 1961 and September 14 1951 with publication dates July 27 to August 24, 1961.
