The Farm Security Administration through Warry Jones announces county training schools for FBSA county committeemen to advise on farm ownership loan applications under the Bankhead Jones Act. Veterans may obtain loans up to 12000 for farm purchases with long terms at 3 percent. Sublette County meeting is Aug 28 in Pinedale. The USES program expands veteran services with priority referrals and a Veterans Division under the Veterans Placement Service Board.

New University President Delivers V J Day Address
Dr George Duke Humphrey the new president of the University of Wyoming spoke at a V J Day program in the UW auditorium. He urged unity and careful plans for peace while noting dangers and the risk of old prejudices resurfacing.
