Star Dunham visiting cousin at Gunhow ranch suffered a severe right leg fracture and facial gash when a horse balked and jumped. Dr Dye and Schrader aided by Dy Carson set the leg. Reports say the horse is doing well and the injured man will be laid up for weeks.
Energetic farmer Mr Loxug was hurled from a wagon near Cottonwood Creek last Friday evening while unloading hot peppers. The brake beam failed and he slid under the wagon. Dr Schrazer from Cottonwood tended him as friends summoned help. No bones broken. a week to ten days of recovery expected.
A friendly call from Republican candidate Jd. W. Sargman was noted. The Examinera offered sample ballots and pledged to supply them as long as needed. Sammon, familiar to county voters, is praised for his four years in Uint a County and his extensive state and county government experience.

In Big Piney Justice Court Judge Julgeta Dodge presided over a recovery case involving John Thompson and J Hy McWilliams. Thompson sought recovery of a horse bought from McWilliams and complications arose as the horse Floyd Novria passed through multiple owners. Dodge awarded Thompson damages for the cost of the horse and entered judgment against McWilliams for that amount, with more litigation anticipated before a final settlement.
