Subette County businesses donate six trophies for county fair exhibits. Awards cover outstanding art, canary exhibits, end work exhibits, crafts, frewlutiure, Junior exhibitor, and overall quality. Ten trophies for exhibits, two for sheep, seven for horses, five for showmanship, eight for 4 H awards. Presentation at the Awards Program on August 19 in the fair building.
High and Co. Inc completes an extension on the livestock shed at Sublette County Fair Grounds near Big Piney Wyoming. Final payment due September 13 1966 per contract with Sublette County Fair Board. Notice published by Gene Inloes Sublette County Agent in the Big Piney Examiner on August 4 12 and 18.
The Wyoming State Department of Education and Employment Security Commission review two projects with budgets over 280000 to supply labor market skills in nursing auto body repair and welding. A 152000 grant funds a licensed practical nursing program in Larame and 129900 covers manpower training for an auto repair facility in Cheyenne. Rebel Schiske leads manpower development and training, coordinating curriculum and addressing difficulties to maximize program impact. The note mentions a widowed mother with young children becoming a nurse and references the August 16, 1966 date.
