Sue Kleen 1966 IFYE delegate to India returns from six months rural living in the Land of Contrasts. She will present programs at Big Piney High School 11 15 am and Pinedale High School 2 30 pm detailing her India experiences and observations as a rural youth exchange participant.
Funeral services were held for James King Harrower 61 a Pinedale businessman and Wyoming historian with ties to the South Pass Historical Preserve Committee He died Saturday morning of a heart attack at Lander Hospital while with committee members His survivors include wife Alice Morrow two sons two daughters and several relatives The obituary also highlights his roles in local government forestry and conservation work and his aim to establish a Mountain Men museum in Sublette County The notice also mentions Soil Stewardship Week observances with dates and local emphasis on private land stewardship and conservation.
Pinexy Booster Club met April 24 at Jacke's Cafe. Members discussed joining the civil organization and plans for completing the tourist information center. A July barbecue was noted and Big Piney placed first in a deck meet in Morton last weekend.
