FBI Joins In Hunt For Abductor In Orrington

Police widen a 20 square mile manhunt for escaped mental hospital patient Roger R. Haller and his hostage Lynne P. McGinn. FBI agents join about 100 officers in a search joined by a National Guard helicopter and a Fish and Game plane. McGinn is missing with her station wagon while her husband Dr. John F. McGinn remains in contact with police.

Two U S Planes Downed In Viet Nam

A U S Air Force jet pair was shot down eighty miles northwest of Hanoi during a six plane raid. The pilots are missing but believed alive. McNamara Proposes Civilian Jobs Shaping Military Staffing
