Berserk Prisoner Taken To Federal Institution
PORTLAND AP One of two men held on a kidnapping charge was moved to the federal prison hospital in Danbury Conn for medical attention. Charles J Alfano 24 of Quincy Mass said he had been taking hope. Alfano and Raymond McGrath 37 of Worcester Mass remain jailed in lieu of 100000 for arraignment Thursday on the federal kidnapping charge. They allegedly abducted Joseph Lenart 50 of Wallingford Conn to Worcester Mass a week earlier. Lenart was released unharmed. The pair were arrested in Lewiston after fleeing a stolen car on foot following a high speed chase.
