Nine Jurors Selected In MacDonald Trial York County
On the fourth day of the Joseph R. MacDonald trial in York County Superior Court, nine jurors and two alternates were seated at noon. MacDonald, 32, of Rochester, faces charges in the slaying of State Trooper Charles C. Black during a July 9 bank robbery in South Berwick. Wayne Beckus, 27, of Ma sontown, Pa., an alleged co conspirator, was convicted of murder in October for his role. The panel includes seven men and two women, with 48 prospective jurors interviewed so far and more expected as jury selection continues tomorrow.

Hoover Funeral Today Draws Huge National Attention
