Old Orchard Beach to Build Civic Auditorium and Center

Sen. Muskie announces a 25000 public works planning advance for a proposed municipal building and civic auditorium in Old Orchard Beach. A Sunday fire destroyed a large barn in Vassalboro with damage estimated at $25,000. About 40 cows escaped. firefighters said they saved the adjoining farmhouse after the Carters arrived home.
