Fire officials continued probing the Morin Building fire on Alfred Street Biddeford that gutted the structure and caused water damage to the adjacent Mahaney Block with an estimated 15000 dollars in losses. DAYTON The badly burned body of a man identified by papers in his wallet as Albert A. Elwell Sr. of Saco was found this morning in a car wrecked and burned in a gravel pit off Route 35 near the Lyman line. Sheriff Dutremble said autopsy pending and initial view suggested death by self-inflicted action due to exhaust fumes.
