Cohen Sues SAD 71 to Block $5.2 Million School Project

Kennebunk resident Herman Cohen filed suit in Alfred court against School Administrative District 71 and others including Superintendent Arthur Hedberg and Casco Bank seeking malapportionment, one man one vote compliance, and an injunction to halt bond issuance unless state reimbursement is forthcoming. The filing follows a Maine Supreme Court ruling against Cohen in related cases and marks his sixth attempt to obstruct the $5.2 million construction plan that includes a new high school.
