Israelis Kill Guerrillas as Beit Shean Mob Burns Bodies

Israeli troops killed four Arab terrorists holding about 75 captives in an apartment in Beit Shean. Townspeople seized the corpses, threw them from windows, and burned three as police and troops restored order. Ford In Tokyo Agricultural Help Pledged To Japan

President Ford began the first American presidential visit to Japan by meeting Emperor Hirohito and assuring Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka of a stable supply of agricultural imports. Kissinger said Ford invited Hirohito to visit the United States next year, and the invitation was accepted. Couple Burned After Kennebunk Cabin Fire

A young couple sustained severe burns in an early morning explosion on Alewive Road in West Kennebunk. John Collins 26 and Kathryn 25 suffered second and third degree burns. their two year old son John Jr. was in good condition. The fire, caused by a leaking cooking gas line, destroyed the log cabin and damaged a camper. The family had just moved from Newburyport Massachusetts.
