Ballots Guarded by State Troopers in Biddeford
Maine Attorney General ordered state police to guard Biddeford ballots cast in Tuesday's election. Troopers, including Hollis G. Dixon, will operate 24 hours a day on eight hour shifts to assist municipal clerks in protecting ballots and voting lists amid reported irregularities. Over 8,000 ballots were cast in Biddeford with Maynard Dolloff leading the GOP challenger.
