Local races saw Kyros beat Hildreth 3,478 to 1,614 for District One Rep, Letourneau 2,953 over Doyle 2,034 for District Three State Senator, and Ward defeating Brickates 3,203 to 1,833. Dutremble and Vallely won sheriff and probate posts, Nay beat Walker for County Commissioner, and bond issues plus a state constitutional amendment were all approved including $128 million for highways and a $4 million park fund.
