Old Timers' Party Set by VFW Auxiliary
Biddeford VFW Auxiliary meeting at V Hall on Thornton Street announced an Old Timers' Party tomorrow starting at 1 p.m. open to the public with costumes encouraged and awards for funniest most original and most attractive outfits. The Old Timers' Kitchen Band from Sanford will perform. Also noted were Christmas fair plans for next December and a memorial period for departed members. Delegates named for the VFW Auxiliary convention in Bangor June 15 15 include President Flora Poirier and Mrs. Alden Racine with alternates Lucianna Roy and Delcia Frechette. Special social awards were given to Mrs. Frechette and Mrs. Nadeau.
