Predawn Raid Fails to Find Patricia Hearst

Los Angeles police conducting a predawn raid on a Hollywood home startled two women who matched descriptions of Patricia Hearst and SLA fugitive Emily Harris. Twelve year old Ralph Morgan Jr traveled 92 miles on a freight train from Lowell Massachusetts to Old Orchard Beach then walked back toward home along the Boston and Maine tracks. He slept at an amusement park near Wells and reached a Wells police station where his mother retrieved him. He said he would not do it again.

Winged Victory Singers Bring Record School Concert Day

Area schoolchildren from Biddeford to Skennebunkport gather for the Winged Victory Singers concert at Tiger Gymnasium. About 3,400 youths ride buses home as the eight man choir prepares for tonight's adult performance.
