Thornton seniors list college choices in area

The Journal reports area seniors have begun submitting college applications and acceptance notices are nearing. Two Men Rescued Off Parsons Beach

Two Sanford men Emile LeBlanc aged 60 and Steven Hatch aged 39 were rescued from a disabled 40 foot boat near Parsons Beach Kilne Kennebunk after spending a cold rough night anchored off ledges. Wells Harbor Master William Abbott found the vessel at 5 15 am and said the men had no lights or flares. The Coast Guard conducted an all night search after Mrs Hatch alerted them the boat was missing. The Popye lobster boat rescued the pair.

Westland Official Deplores Imports Threat to Jobs

Westland Shoe officials warn U S shoe workers face layoffs as imports rise and foreign pay scales undercut domestic production. Sirhan Sentenced To Death For Kennedy Slaying
