The 1973 Annual Institute for all Roman Catholic clergy in Maine will run the week of May 20 at Shawmut Inn. About half will attend the first session Sunday to Wednesday noon, with the rest joining Wednesday afternoon for the second session through Friday lunch. Rev. Joseph A. Fitzmyer S J of Fordham University will present using The Acts of the Apostles as the theme. Father Fitzmyer, 53, ordained in 1951 in Belgium, earned a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture in Rome in 1957 and has served as editor and editorial consultant. He was co editor of the Jerome Biblical Commentary and co authored 10 of its 80 articles.
