Veterans Sons Elect Officers at Dover meeting
Bernard Valliere was elected commander of the newly organized Sons of Veterans of Foreign Wars at a meeting held at the home on Thornton Street in Biddeford. Officers include Mark Descoteaux senior vice commander John Boissonneault junior vice commander Dennis Iduc quartermaster Peter Regeep chaplain and David Ouellette surgeon. Trustees are Eugene Chase Pierre Maurice and Donald St Onge with terms from one to three years. Regular meetings are set for the first and third Wednesday each month. A meeting of the Past Matrons Association of Adah Chapter C E S was held at the home of Mrs Ruth J Haley Biddeford. Fourteen members attended and final plans were made for the June banquet at the Sheraton Motor Inn South Portland on June 12 at 6 30 p m. A Afghan will be sold by the ways and means committee and members will prepare items for an August fair.
