Webber Hospital Starts Nurses Aide Training for Local Women
A dozen Biddeford Saco women begin an eight week nurses aide program at Webber Hospital funded by Area Redevelopment Administration. Test Pilot Reports Mysterious Objects Seen Near Flight
Test pilot Joe Walker said film from the X15 flight to 246000 feet showed five or six mysterious objects. Astronaut John Glenn and Soviet Gherman Titov had previously reported strange sightings in orbit. Walker cautioned he could not identify the objects and noted they appeared disc or cylindrical in shape. Glenn questioned if the objects were snowflakes or vapor crystals, stating some appeared to move toward him. Titov noted additional observations during his orbital flight.
